  Ami ki ma pagol tabe

Boka ami pagol ami
  Ami tomar koler shishu
Bishwajayi habo ami
  Param gyani Buddha Jishu

Everybody calls me mad.
Am I really mad then?
Tell me, Mother, is there anybody
  Who is not mad
In Your eyes, in Your vast world?
I am ready to be known as
  A foolish and mad fellow
As long as You will place me on Your Lap
And there I shall become another Christ
And another Buddha of
  Compassion-Illumination.
