Amai diye bishesh kichhu
Ebar nahoi nai halo
Hale pather anu renu
Paye dale jabe dhenu
Dukkha kare kana ki tai bhalo

E jibane bishesh kichhu

Granted, nothing is done,
Nothing special is accomplished by me in this
     incarnation.
If I were to become dust and pollen of the earth
     for the cows to trample upon,
Would it even then be worth my while to
     sorrowfully cry and weep?
