Sri Chinmoy spontaneously sang this prayer on December 22, 2005, at 3:25 a.m., during his early morning heavy weightlifting exercise routine while on a trip to Kuantan, Malaysia. The prayer was subsequently published, along with details of his weightlifting routine on that day, in My Morning Soul-Body Prayers, Part 19 (2006), by Sri Chinmoy.
