No awakening, no awakening!
My heart is fast asleep —    An endless sleep.
Nothing do I know, nothing do I know.
Someone constantly warns me
And prevents me from doing the right thing.
From each stroke of his
I derive new strength.
I shall soon be inundated
With peace and liberation-light
But nobody knows anything about it.
