Bhakatir kiba man
Kiba apaman
Tar kache ami tumi
Sabai saman
Bhakatir paye kari
Sahasra pranam
Bhakat paran deha puta abhiram

A true devotee can never be caught
By the snare of name and fame.
To him, all are equal.
I touch the very dust of his feet.
Always his body and vital
Are purity’s life-breath.
