Agyanatar bojha gurutor se gopan katha hai
Jeno janina rahiyachi ami nithur ama nishai

Alas, I know perfectly well
That the weight of ignorance-night is extremely heavy
And hard is it to pierce its veil.
Yet there is something in me
That enjoys the pleasure
Of being constantly and ceaselessly tortured
   By ignorance-night.
